Holdings offers a unique opportunity to practice holding patterns with a visualization that has not been presented on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch platforms previously. This application caters to a wide audience, from flight students to seasoned jumbo pilots, providing a valuable tool for test preparation and a means to enhance familiarity with the Flight Management System (FMS) while maintaining situational awareness.

The app meticulously guides users through each crucial aspect of holding patterns, covering everything from the type of entry to wind and timing adjustments. Visualizations are presented both from the aircraft's perspective through a Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) and with an intuitive overview map detailing the holding pattern along with the aircraft's position and flight path.
